Request deletion of your data
You can request deletion of your Cars Reels account and associated personal data, including information received through a connected sign-in provider.
How to send your request
- Email contact@carsreels.com, preferably from the email address used for your Cars Reels account.
- Use the subject Data deletion request. Include your account email and explain whether you want to delete your account or only information associated with a connected sign-in provider.
- If your Facebook email differs, mention the account email used in Cars Reels. Do not send passwords, access tokens or identity documents in your initial request.
What happens next?
Requests are reviewed manually. We may ask you to confirm account ownership before taking action. We will explain the scope of the deletion and confirm the outcome by email. Sending an email does not immediately delete your account.
Personal account information and connected sign-in information are reviewed for deletion. Shared dealership records belonging to other users are not automatically deleted. If you own a dealership workspace, we will discuss ownership transfer or workspace closure with you.
Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution purposes. Backup copies may remain until their retention cycle ends. We will explain any applicable exceptions in our response.
Disconnecting Facebook
If you connected Facebook, you can also remove Cars Reels in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites. Removing access on Facebook is separate from deleting information already held by Cars Reels; email us to request that deletion.
Account deletion and cancellation are separate requests. If you have a paid subscription, tell us that you also want it canceled so recurring billing can be addressed. Review our refund and cancellation policy.
