1. Who is responsible

The service operator acts as controller for account administration, billing, and website security. A dealership may act as controller for personal data it includes in its inventory; processing on its behalf requires appropriate contractual terms.

2. Information involved

Cars Reels uses the information you submit to provide the service. Avoid including customer records, identity documents, private contact information, or other unnecessary personal data in vehicle listings.

• Account details: name, email address, dealership membership, and sign-in information.
• Inventory and content: listing details, photos, source feeds, generated scripts, audio, and videos.
• Service records: render history, credit transactions, subscription status, and support correspondence.
• Technical records: session identifiers, security events, and request information needed to operate and protect the service.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Account access, video generation, and subscription administration are used to provide the service you request. Where applicable, processing may rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as preventing abuse and maintaining service security. Optional uses that require consent must be explained separately and enabled only after that consent is given.

4. Service providers and AI processing

Hosting, storage, payment, email, and AI providers may receive the information necessary for their part of the service. Relevant listing details and photos may be processed by configured AI providers for photo classification, narration and thumbnail generation. Do not upload material you lack permission to share with these providers. SMS information is subject to the additional restrictions below.

Our infrastructure providers include Hostinger and Oracle Cloud for hosting and compute, and Cloudflare for website security and object storage. Paddle processes checkout and subscription payments as merchant of record when a purchase is completed through Paddle. Hostinger supports service email; Twilio supports the separately consented SMS program when enabled. Depending on the feature and configured fallback, Google, DeepSeek, Moonshot AI (Kimi), OpenRouter and ElevenLabs may process relevant vehicle details, photos, prompts or speech for classification, thumbnail generation or narration. A provider may route a request to its underlying model provider. Google or GitHub processes sign-in information if you choose that sign-in method. We do not send every listing to every provider: only the data needed for the requested feature and its actual provider route is shared. Payment and sign-in providers also process information under their own privacy notices.

Optional website analytics

When enabled by Cars Reels, Google Analytics 4 measures visits to public website pages only after you allow analytics in Cookie preferences. Advertising tags are not enabled. The application sends a public page name and address without its query string, fragment or referrer; it does not send your form entries, email, account identifier or vehicle details as analytics event fields. Google receives connection information such as your IP address and browser information when its tag loads.

Analytics choices and identifier cookies last up to 180 days on this browser. You can reject analytics or withdraw permission using Cookie preferences in the footer. Withdrawal disables the tag, clears its identifier cookies and reloads the page to unload it. A supported Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal prevents this analytics tag from loading. Staging and private workspace pages are excluded.

SMS privacy and consent

For the Cars Reels SMS program, we collect the phone number, the message categories you expressly select, the date and method of consent, the notice version, and a record of preference changes. We use this information to manage permission, provide the requested account updates or support, send marketing texts only when separately authorized, and honor opt-outs. Entering a number in your profile, creating an account, purchasing a plan, or agreeing to general terms does not by itself provide SMS consent.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, transferred, or shared with third parties for their own purposes. We disclose only the information necessary to communications service providers, including Twilio and carriers, acting to deliver messages on our behalf, or where disclosure is required by law. The general service-provider description above does not permit sharing SMS consent for another party’s marketing.

You may withdraw permission in Settings or reply STOP to the sending number. Reply HELP for help or email [email protected]. We retain limited consent and suppression evidence as needed to honor your choices and meet applicable obligations; removing a phone number must not cause us to forget an opt-out.

5. Retention and deletion

We retain account information and submitted inventory while needed to provide your workspace. Deletion of hosted media is queued and retried if storage is unavailable; it does not remove photos from the original dealer’s website. Contact [email protected] to close an account or exercise privacy rights. We retain financial, security, fraud-prevention, consent and opt-out records for applicable legal obligations, disputes and honoring your choices. Earlier copies may remain in backups until the applicable backup cycle ends. Retention depends on the record, its purpose and applicable law; we do not promise a single deletion deadline for all data.

A deletion request may require identity checks. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations or disputes; any applicable exception should be explained when responding.

6. International transfers

CARS REELS LLC is established in the United States and its authorized operators may access service information from Morocco. Hosting, storage, payment and AI providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. The protections available can differ from those in your country. Where a transfer is subject to legal restrictions, a lawful transfer basis and any required contractual or other safeguards must be established before the restricted transfer takes place. Contact [email protected] to request information about the locations, provider terms and safeguards applicable to your data, or to arrange processing of dealership-controlled personal data. Do not include customer records or unnecessary personal data in vehicle inventory. This notice does not assert an unverified certification or that a specific transfer agreement has already been signed.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent for future processing. The GDPR page explains these rights and the request process. You may also complain to the relevant data protection authority.

8. Changes to this notice

The date above identifies this version. Material changes to the service's use of personal data should be reflected in an updated notice and communicated as required.
